Foolproof Brown Rice

Foolproof Oven-baked Brown Rice

 

1 c. long grain brown rice

1 2/3 cup water

1/2  tsp. salt

1 Tablespoon butter

 

Preheat oven to 350.  Spray 1 qt.  casserole with Pam.  Put in raw rice.  Dot with butter and salt.  Boil water in tea kettle.  Pour over rice.  Quickly cover tightly with foil and lid.  Bake 1 hour.  Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
