Bean's Beans

 

6 slices bacon

1 1/2 large onion

1/4 c. brown sugar

1/4 c. vinegar

2 tsp. prepared mustard

4 16-oz. cans whole grean beans, drained

 

Fry bacon until crisp.  Drain and set aside.  Saute onions in drippings.  Add sugar, vinegar & mustard; simmer for about 10 minutes.  Stir beans into sauce and crumble bacon on top.  Cover and cook slowly for about one hour (or bake on low in oven for 1 hour).
