Goulash
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 large onion, chopped 2 cups raw macaroni ~ 1 quart tomato juice Salt and pepper to taste
Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until done (al dente). While macaroni is boiling, brown meat and onion in dutch oven. When macaroni is done (don’t overcook!), add to meat and onion mixture. Stir in tomato juice a little at a time until desired sloppiness is achieved. Add salt and pepper to taste. Return to heat just until warmed.
Serve immediately with shredded Colby or Parmesan cheese |
