Grilled Shrimp Skewers

Grilled Shrimp

 

2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 large cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons paprika

1/4 cup olive oil

4 teaspoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice

 

 

 

Mince garlic with salt; mix with cayenne and paprika in small bowl.  Add olive oil and lemon juice to form a thin paste.  Toss brined shrimp with paste until evenly coated.  Cover and let marinade for 2-4 hours, tossing again occasionally.  Thread onto skewers and grill.
